Don't lose your drivers license! Before your salesman will allow you to test drive the new vehicle. They will ask to make a copy of your driver license. Sometimes they will do this when you finish the test drive and start working the numbers for the deal. Make sure you get them back immediately! This is a strategy to try and keep you from leaving the car dealership. Salesmen are famous for trying to keep your keys or license in their pocket so you can't just slip out the door. |
